digitallysick Posted April 24, 2008 Share Posted April 24, 2008 Strange as it may seem, if i put in another 1gb stick to bring myself to 3gb, after about 30 min, my internet dies, and under network i go from a regular ip, to a wins ip (169. whatever) if i release /renew, no effect , all other devices on the network have no issue. (its acts like i unplugged an Ethernet cable) If i take out the stick and go back to 2gb, then i am stable and don't have this issue. It works fine until i put over 2gb of ram , then after that i can kernel panics, and dropped ethernet connection.
