sh0td0wn
I tried a new dual boot with Leopard today after using Vista for a while and not having Leopard installed. However, when I finished installed Leopard and I wanted to go back to Vista, I got some kind of winload file missing error... think it was.. \Windows\System32\Winload.exe missing. Is there a way where I can get my Vista operating system back? If there isn't, is there a way for me to access my registry through OSX because I can't find my Call of Duty 4 serial. MuppMan
Boot with the Vista DVD then choose "Repair your computer" then "Startup Repair". Reboot. ~pcwiz
Try installing that Winload.exe file from the Vista DVD. And if you lose your CoD4 serial, just ask the game company to provide you with a new one, assuming you have proof of purchase. Or use a key maker, you bought the game, so no guilt in that.
