Zlod Bob
I have a strange situation that I hope someone can help with. I've tried to burn the iso image about five (and counting) times and every time I get the SAME wrong MD5. I checked the iso image and also a D-Tools virtual mount of the image and both have correct MD5 sums. I even tried to update NERO and try different media, but with the same results. Any ideas? Appreciate it! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/10095-is-this-all-i-need-to-do/#findComment-73743 Share on other sites

Saves time and effort, very civilized Mark Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/10095-is-this-all-i-need-to-do/#findComment-73778 Share on other sites
jdxxx
Try the install with the iso with the wrong MD5 and see what happens. Burn with verify on -- if it verifies, the data is probably okay. rohde
As others have said: Get a pre-patched DVD. Much easier and it elminitates some steps from the procedure which means less risk for error making on your side. Burn it to a DVD and install, or even easier install natively on a HD via vmWare (by mounting the ISO with Daemon Tools). And yes, remember to check the MD5 sums to be sure your image is a ok. Yeah - I finally got bored and DID try it...and no luck ;( Something is getting scrambled somewhere?!?!?!? dunno...hehehe As others have said: Get a pre-patched DVD. Yes, but as I said before, I have a correct patched DVD image already. The errors came from burning it to the DVD. The patching process went fine...no probs there.... I am trying the VMware route right now....we'll see....Thanks tho!
