Jazzle
I want to install vanilla leopard on my vostro 200, but I like to have some help with which method to use. My configuration is as follows: Dell Vostro 200 e4500 2.2ghz 2x1024MB ddr2 (samsung) 500GB Seagate barracuda Sata2 Foxconn g33m02 Motherboard Intel g33 chipset intel graphics 3100 onboard Asus w138g wifi Realtek HD audio I have to be sure that all this hardware works (sound, video, wifi) or it won't be worth trying. I also wan't to know, is it possible to make it install so that it installs updates flawlessly? (efi?) And how do I keep my existing vista? 2manydjs
I'm thinking of turning one of these Vostro 200's (completely stock if possible) into a hackintosh for my friend on a tight budget. Has anyone been successful with this machine? The GMA 3100 shouldn't give any problems, right? What about the other parts?
