ashley__ Posted April 18, 2008 Share Posted April 18, 2008 hey guys, im just wondering if anyone can recomend a Leo version that'll work with an AMD Phenom? i've tried Kalyway 10.5.2 for Intel/AMD and EFI 10.5.2 for AMD... i just keep getting restarts right after booting from the disk.. stats: Processor: AMD Phenom 9500 Quad-Core Processor Mobo: MSI MS-7376, version 1.0 (MSI K9A2 Platinum) Northbridge: ATI RD790 rev. 00 Southbridge: ATI SB600 rev. 00 2x 2GB DDR2 pc2-6400 OZC RAM 2x ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT (Crossfired) any help would be great -ash Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

MacObsessed Posted May 12, 2008 Share Posted May 12, 2008 Check out this post. http://forum.infinitemac.com/comments.php?...p;page=1#Item_1 Shadow3K has succeeded with the K9A2 CF motherboard, which is a phenom mobo, but it uses the 790x/sb600 chipsets (and close , im finding.. does not count) I have the same mobo as you do (specs below) and Im trying Zephyroth 10.5.2. I've gotten it all installed, but I'm wrestling with "still waiting for boot device" which makes me think the 790fx chipset isnt supported.
