Works great on my M4400 running 10.9.4! One thing to note is that under 10.9.4, vanilla AppleACPIPlatform (v2.0) is required for this to work. When I was running v1.3.5 in order to resolve a boot issue it wouldn't work at all.

Hi, I have Dell Latitude e6500 with same IDT 92HD71B7 and OSX 10.9.5.

Where may I set the layout ID to Zero? You think dsdt.aml?

Since a lot of users asked me for an update, i've made one, but it 's not tested by me, so please do it, and give me some feedback.

10.11.6 works great for me on the Latitude E6400, but doesn't work for 10.12.  Any chance for a newer Sierra update?  :)
