Estoy de regreso para comentarles que instalé Leopard (iATKOS v1.0i) en un disco de prueba USB, y me funcionó el teclado cambiando solo el plug-in del primer post dentro del ApplePS2Controller.kext, ahora me funcionan <>, solo tuve que remapear con ukelele porque me aparecía el teclado como ANSI.

hola, tengo el mismo problema con la tecla F12....

esta ves me doy cuenta que ahora cambio por la tecla original en los macs es decir la tecla con el signo de expulsion... tal y como lo muestra la imagen... antes de instalar el kext decia expulsar ---- F12 ahora dice expulsar --- la tecla original en los macs....

Sorry I can't speak Spanish. From what I understand, your .kext solves a problem we have too with our French keyboards : proper use of the "</>" key at the bottom left.

Problem is: I can't seem to be able to unzip your file. BOMArchiveHelper creates a .zip.cpgz file, which I can't do anything with.

Could you provide a proper .zip file created with Mac OS X, or simply the uncompressed .kext itself?

Yes,you are right.With this ApplePS2keyboard.kext modified by macgirl you will be able to use '<' '>' keys.I am not sure why you have that problem because I was able to unzip it at once.But don't worry,here you go the same 'file' zipped by Archive Utility (from Mac OS X).If you have any problem,let us know...

Thanks for the reply. Actually that was a problem with my third-party download manager which "broke" the .zip archive (don't know why). I've been able to unzip now and I installed it on my OSX86 machine (Acer Aspire One).

But it doesn't work : the <> is still in the bad position (the upper "2" key)... Is there anything else I must do to make it work?

Did you repair permissions and delete Extensions.mkext?

EDIT : Hey, I did what you sent me in your private message, and now it works PERFECTLY : the <> key works as it's supposed to, and the "upper 2" works too. Thanks A LOT !

In case other want to know, here's what Xxp/TuX told me to do:

Try this after placing the file in /Systen/Library/Extensions/ApplePS2Controller.kext/Contents/PlugIns.
Open Terminal and type:
sudo chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/Extensions/ApplePS2Controller.kext/Contents/PlugIns/ApplePS2Keyboard.kext
sudo chmod -R 755 /System/Library/Extensions/ApplePS2Controller.kext/Contents/PlugIns/ApplePS2Keyboard.kext

Go to System/Library and move to trash Extensions.mkext.
Reboot and try the keys again.

bueno sorry pero encontre en mercadolibre el modelo hahaha, emmm bueno funcioan todo de ese teclado. no eh necesitado usar ALT como si fuese la tecla manzanita , en otros teclados me pasaba.

bueno es... es economico, practico y USB.

Well anyway, on my Acer Aspire One I noticed that the Alt and AltGr keys act as Command key and that the key with a little house on it (probably Windows key on usual keyboards) acts as Alt/Option. That's fine with me.

BUT : the "menu" key (to the right of the AltGr) doesn't seem to do anything at all.

Does anybody know how to map this key to make it another Command key, for instance?

Yes,that key doesn't work.Unfortunately,at this time I am not very sure about how to map this key.Let's wait and see what can be done about it.

tengo 2 preguntas la primera es q me gustaria saber si con mi teclado puedo activar las opciones de subir y bajar el volumen y de dar mas o menos brillo a la pantalla?

la segunda es q me fui a las opciones de configuracion y a teclado y mouse y en la lenguenta de teclado no tengo la opcion change keyboard type solo me aparece modifier keys.
a que se debe?
tengo instalado un appleps2controller.kext nada mas relacionado

Yo utilizo un teclado USB de Dell QWERTY y "< >" no funcionan o no están donde deben estar, he probado a cambiar el idioma de español a español iso pero nada, no hay fortuna...

Quiza sea una tonteria que no he configurado, si podeis ayudarme...

Antes que nada muchisimas gracias a macgirl y a todos por este gran thread, y en recompensa aporto mi granito de arena.

Tuve el mismo problema que TENTE menciona, pero con un teclado USB Genius Slimstar KKB-2050U, la tecla "> <" que está al lado del shift izquierdo estaba intercambiada por la "ºª\" que está debajo del escape, y la tecla command estaba en la tecla del logotipo de Windows en vez de en la tecla alt.

Para resolver la primera parte (la de las teclas no-modificadoras) edité con el Ukelele el archivo que gentilmente publicó OsXsO (gracias!), cambiando la resolución de las teclas en cuestión.
Estoy adjuntando el zip con los dos archivos que tienen que extraer en "/Library/Keyboard Layouts". Una vez hecho esto, deben ir al panel "International" de "System Preferences", y en la solapa "Input Menu" tildar el item "Español" de la lista (representa al archivo que acabamos de instalar). Luego vamos al icono del "Input menu" en la menu bar y lo activamos.

Por último lo más facil: en "Keyboard & Mouse", click en el botón "Modifier Keys" y rotar las teclas Option y Command, seleccionando arriba "USB KB" donde dice "Select keyboard".

Espero que le sea util a alguien más. Saludos a toda la comunidad pirata de la manzana!

Buenas al foro, tengo 10.5.5 corriendo muy bien con boot_132 en una miniparticion con los kext ahi, prefiero dejar la instalacion de leopard con todo lo mas retail posible.
Queria preguntar como hacer para que con el teclado numerico puedo ecribir un punto (.) y no una coma (,). Es realmente molesto. Salvo por eso y no tener salida de TV en una 8800GTS creo que tengo un Leo funcionando al 100%.

Este es mi primer mensaje, así que me presento. HOLA !!!

Tengo un Medion Akoya Mini E1210, blanquito, subido a su último firmware 1.09, versión HD 160 GB, al que le he puesto OSX gracias a MSIWindowsx86.iso. Luego lo he subido a la 10.5.5 y le he puesto el parche para tenerlo en español.

Siguiendo los mensaje de este hilo, y gracias a la aclaración de SbMfr, he conseguido que me reconozca la teclas de <>ºª\.

Intel core2duo E8400
Shappire Radeón HD4850

Yo al principio reemplacé ApplePS2Controller.kext por el que posteaste tu, pero no me funcionaba, me quedaba sin teclado.
Lo que hice fue volver a instalar ApplePS2Controller.kext y ApplePS2Keyboard.kext, ambos con OSX86Tools, en el mismo directorio, es decir, en /System/Library/Extensions que es donde yo tengo instalados todos los kext y ahora me funciona de maravilla.

Solo queria decir que yo tambien tenia ese problema de intercambio de teclas ºª<>\ y mi hijo de 11 años me ha dado la solucion,jejej, me ha dicho "pues cambialas" y eso he hecho, las he sacado y las he cambiado "fisicamente de sitio"
