After reading this I am not sure anymore, if I really do not like brushed metal.
Last thing i heard of Brushed, was that he was hangin' out with a Casino-App.

When i first saw it i hated it - it was just totally random and didn't fit in with regular aqua laf. Then it grew on me. Now i'm back to disliking it.

Yes, same thing here, just vice versa
I first liked it but after a short time it was looking 'too heavy'. Did they silently changed Brushed in the meantime? I think in panther it was a kind of heavybrushed steel,
and then they made it a bit more lightweight with aluminium, or is this just my imagination?
but I am looking forward to have all apps in cocoa-style or "plastic"
