drunkmuppet
Ok, so I booted into pupply linux, browsed to the codec#0, ran a cat codec#0 > codec.txt I then used the AppleHDA.kext patcher and it says... * Patching AppleHDA.kext to 0x83847690 Done* Checking AppleHDA for patch Done 0001f2cb cmpl $0x83847690,%eax 000203d7 cmpl $0x83847690,%eax * Checking for SPDIF Out Detected * Checking for SPDIF In Not Detected * Creating AppleHDA Custom Configs * Using the following nodes in pathmap Back Mic: Speaker : 13 2 Spdif Out: 16 8 * Copying new config to destination Done * Repairing Permissions * Deleting Extensions Cache Done ** Done patching - You can reboot now * Rebooted. Still no audio. No output in System Prefs, nothing. Did I miss something...?

phattyboombatty
I'd love help! I don't have a linux build atm, but need the KEXTs for my Sigmatel 9250. Any chance I could get the patched versions from you in a ZIPped file?
phattyboombatty
Hey drunkmuppet -- were you able run Taruga's patcher on Linux?
drunkmuppet
I have attached the output for your card. You simply get the patcher from here: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?act...st&id=11042 And download the txt file I attached. You then drag the text file on to the patcher, and reboot when it's done. Don't forget to unzip the attached file. Sigmatel9250.txt.zip
phattyboombatty
Yes, this all worked perfectly for me on Tiger (10.4.9), but I have not been able to get the patcher to work on Leopard (10.5). I get a "codec unsupported" error. Have you gotten the patcher to work on Leopard on your Hackintosh? Thanks for your help!
drunkmuppet
Yes, the patcher worked magnificently for me. I used the most up to date patcher and had no problems.
Dainix
The patcher worked fine for me also. I still don't have any inputs setup, but at least I can use iTunes.
