So my friend gave me his "broken" iPod that will not boot anymore. I found out that it was tampered with and the audio jack ribbon cable was broke. So I went on eBay bought a new jack, faceplate,charger, and battery. I Had everything except the battery and started to install the new parts. I did everything properly and it would not boot. At all. It is still plugged in my computer and has been for 5min. I will let it sit for 30 min in the wall and see what will happen. I tried all those wierd ass sequences and hold switch positions. No luck.
