DylanG
Whenever I start garageband in magic mode, it loads forever and then when I click on the garageband icon's Window menu, it lists one window named "Window". I click it, and it's magic garageband, but its all gray and doesnt have anything loaded it's just some blank buttons and overlapping text that says "do not localize". It won't start, help!!! Also, iMovie says "Sorry you must have quicktime 7.2 to run iMovie 08" and I HAVE THE LATEST VERSION!! But, it doesnt run because I have leopard 9a466 and quicktime refuses to load mpeg's, just .mov and .wmv with my Flip4mac. So imovie can't run, and magic garageband can't either I WANT MAGIC GARAGEBAND! Does anyone have any advice or solutions??? Thanks so much! MPEG2 only works with apple's $30 component (which is different than QT Pro). I have 9A466 too, and i can't even get Garageband to load at all. hopefully there will be a 9A5xx build soon. Also, if this thread continues to degrade into leopard talk (and i know i'm helping it do that), a mod should move it into F125.

Nickhamm
I was gonna say this must be a Leopard issue because they run fine on a Hackintosh running 10.4.8 (with SystemVersion.plist edited to 10.4.10 so they would install.) I installed the latest quicktime and have used iMovie and its not a full featured but good to make quick professional looking movies. Also, Magic GarageBand loaded and played and switched instruments, but I didn't really mess with it because I wasn't interested, but it did run. I am gonna try to get Leopard on x86 tonight and see if it has the same issues.
