i want to make a video like an ipod ad. to do thih i am armed with my video cam and Adobe After Effects.


i would also film against a white screen.

anyone know how? :hysterical:

I know how to do it in Final Cut Pro because of a school project I had, but not Adobe After Effects.

Search in the video filters, there's one called "color vectorization" or something like this, it's what you need

Search in the video filters, there's one called "color vectorization" or something like this, it's what you need

No, you need "Color" which is under Video Generators -> Matte
and you also need "Color Key" which is under Video Filters -> Key

No need to say "No" since I used it a few hours ago, and it's OK

Your method is for "1st gen" ads (black and color)
Mine is for "2nd gen" ads (several colors)
