Ritsche
Hello people! I have a Lenovo Thinkpad Z61m with a Intel GMA950 graphics chipset. With JaS 10.4.6 it doesn't seem to be possible to get Dual Monitor functionality, like expanding the desktop to a external screen a.s.o.. Also i can't get any kind of brightness adjustment. When i connect the monitor, it shows me the same screen on both displays, also i can move the mouse cursor but i can't click anything, it seems to be "dead". Would it make sense to install 10.4.8? Or is there any patch out there? Tanks, Ritsche
Dr. Hurt
I'm not really sure about dual display, but you can adjust the brightness using your monitors adjustment switch (AFAIK, It's adjusted from the monitor itself and not the computer). About 10.4.8, well you should update because 10.4.8 has better performance and hardware support (at least in my case).
neyman
Hello, I'd like to use the VGA-out of my notebook so I can use both screens for applications (no mirroring). How do I achieve this? The notebook (Acer TravelMate 2482) has a GMA950 Intel Graphic. Thanks in advance for any information
tops
Hmmm, I'm not sure if this is possible with GMA950. I haven't heard of it working for anyone, but I could be wrong.

Poco
Works on iAtkos 10.5.3 for me. No problems just that I have to go into system preferences>display to make it work. Just a little fiddling. iPoco

The notebook (Acer TravelMate 2482) has a GMA950 Intel Graphic. Thanks in advance for any information never had a problem on my Dell with that. thought that was standard. guess I was wrong. As soon as I plug an external monitor into the vga port it recognizes the correct resolution of the new monitor and goes right to dual display.
