Hi, I've dowloaded Colloquy and connected to a random server (can't remember which one)

went into the room #OSx86 (it had 30 odd members) but no chat

I tried to connect to the server irc.osx86project.org but nothing happened.

Can someone help a IRC n00b out please.

Hi and welcome to the forums! What kind of errors are you getting when trying to connect to our server? Make sure that you typed everything correctly.

At certain times of the day, people are active and at other times the room is dead silent. If you have a question, (but you already read the wiki and searched the forums

) then feel free to ask in the channel but don't expect an answer right away if there is no one around. Also if you have trouble connecting to the server try another address such as oldos.r-type.ca or coruscant.r-type.ca
