All you guys trying to get 10.4.1 (Deadmoo) running do realize that very few current Intel OSX apps will run in that OS version. Apple made major changes starting with 10.4.3 and as a result, new apps won't work with 10.4.1. You really should search for something like 10.4.6, 10.4.7 or 10.4.8 and install that.

Anyone can get an AppleAC97Audio.kext by downloading 2 files:

Pacifist from Charlessoft

and an Apple
Intel
OSX update from Apple website.

Open the update .dmg and find a package (.pkg) inside.

Run Pacifist. Use Pacifist to open the .pkg. Click arrows beside System -> Library -> Extensions folders. Find AC97 kext and click on it.

In toolbar in Pacifist, click on Install (or click on Extract to extract to let's say the Desktop for editing).
