kevinosx
Ok, so I found a website that has a BIOS Agent that will detect and tell you everything about your computer's bios, even if it's a dell, acer or whatever! Turns out that DELL uses a Phoenix BIOS custom made for them. I'm trying to talk with www.Unicore.com to see if they can make or have a custom bios for my specific DELL, I have to call them later today to find out the specifics. Here is what the BIOS Agent said about my system! Dell e1705/9400 t2500 core duo 2.0, 1 gig ram, intel gma video, sigmatel 9200 etc. Bios Type: Phoenix ROM BIOS PLUS Version 1 Bios Date: 12/18/06 Bios ID: Dell 0ff049 BIOS Version: 0 OEM Sign-ON: None Super I/O Unknown Chipset: Intel 27A0 rev 3 OS: Microsoft Windows XP Version: 5.1 2600 Service Pack 2 CPU: Type: Unknown Speed 2000MHZ Max speed 2130 MHZ Bios ROM In Socket: NO Size: Unknown Memory Installed: 1024 Maximum: 4096 ACPI 1.0 Here is the address to the Bios Agent http://www.unicore.com/biosagent/ I'll let you know when I find out if they can make a BIOS hack for me! hemzet
Yeah the same with me. Both cores are working. But the deactivation of one of them doesn't work. Ok, I think I won't need this function ever ...
