A very cool old pc to try one hack installation.I had installed in other pc, one Mavericks with everything ok. My Note has a El Cap running nice for me. But this is other thing. Back, i losted a lot time trying boot a installation in this machine, without success. Here i am calling for help. Tried with clover, with args, but nothing happens to start the installation. Specs are: AMD Opteron 2218 (2 Processors) 32 GB RAM DDR2 ECC 2 nVIDIA QUADDRO FX5800 (SLI) HD 1TB SATA MotherBoard - nVIDIA nFORCE 3600 Series Its possible, this machine run any OS X?? In AMD i never tried this tricks! If you can help me, i will be grateful. So i should try a Yosemite or El Cap?? I never had lucky with Clover Bootloader. I use chameleon and Enoch? You recommend Clover or Chameleon/Enoch bootloader? Because when i create a usb with clover my install doesnt start... Using Legacy mode, this mobo isnt Uefi mode. Don't use CreateIntsallMedia as it doesn't work for AMD. Install Encoh and use Bronya's kernel from here, http://amd-osx.com/files/kernel_10.10.5_rc1.zip You'll also need AppleNForceATA for your chipset. I tried with this other kernel http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/files/file/335-amd-kernel-yosemite-10100-bsa-10100-rc2/, install run, but after screen of appears the options to proceed installation, a loop with the mouse icon happens... Any help will be welcome. My graphics card are 2 nVidia Quadro FX5600. ps: i tried all flags for nvidia like, GraphicsEnabler=Yes nvda_drv=1 nv_disable=1... GraphicsEnabler=Yes and No ... I feel so close to start the install, just this thing boring me... I dont know more what to do... My Graphic Card is a nVidia Quadro FX 5600 and i use a DVI port. GoogleDNS Posted March 28, 2017 Author Share Posted March 28, 2017 I deleted all NVIDIA kexts in usb Installer... The installation some times apears and i can install the osx but some freezes ocurrs. But after Install i can add other kexts to enable graphics? I dont care if Yosemite or Sierra doesnt install in my machine. I just want osx running in my machine, whatever version. Cheers! I have some troubles in video yet, like the Gray Screen/Mouse Cursor. I tested another VGA (GTX 550) and the same happens. I think, this is something in my bios options, that i dont know what can be.
