Fixing boot glitches

Hi guys, I've been trying the usual way to fix the Apple logo boot glitches on ElCaptain, but the "old" perl script is not working at all...

this was the patch working on Maverick and Yosemite:

sudo perl -i.bak -pe 's|\x41\x88\xC4\xEB\x11|\x41\x88\xC4\xEB\x31|sg' /System/Library/Extensions/IOGraphicsFamily.kext/IOGraphicsFamily

Any idea?

Thanks!!

are you sure?

it shows during the second part of the OS X startup usually without the patch only the first part of the boot process is shown correctly

It's this glitch

I never have this glitch on boot   :lol:

With this

<key>CustomLogo</key>

<false/>

Edit ------Maybe  because I dont have the second part at all ?

i've just seen that this user fixed the glitch with a clover on the go patch, btw it never worked on the surface pro...

that perl patch was the only thing that worked for me...
