Hi everyone, I have an Asus Ultrabook S 400 which features an Intel HD 4000 graphic cards. I am running Maverick 10.9.2 though Clover bootloader and everything except the audio output through HDMI are working.

How do I get it to work? Can someone explain it in layman terms please? I don't have any knowledge(this computer was given to me by a friend). Thank you.

Mark this in your config.plist:

In igplatformid use the correct for you.

And is necessary use AppleHDA for your codec.

Hi there Allan sorry for the late reply. I'm not sure what program you use to edit the config.plist with the tick option but what I did was to unmount the hidden efi partition and open the config.plist using textedit. And I review the bunch of line to check whether does it have the code called useintelhdmi as well as inject/intel and ig-platform-id but there was none. So I manually added them as well as following your ig-platform-id code. But it doesn't work. And also you did mentioned that I must be using applehda. The problem is I'm using voodoohda instead. As my sound card is via vt1802p. So what should I do next? Thanks!

Hi Allan, could you help with the hdmi audio? Recently just installed yosemite. My audio codec is VIA VT1802. I have to use voodoohda in order for the audio to work. I tried the applehda patched by Mirone with the layout 3 on my dsdt but it just doesn't work. I followed the instruction as you said but it just doesn't work. I hope you could chimp in and help me. As I'm not sure what to do, because toleda method is only for realtek codec.

Ps. Im not sure why but when i have the voodoohda loaded, and then in the DPCIManager says its a ALC269 codec. But anyway i tried ALC269 patched by Mirone and it doesn't work too. Thanks :)

Install this kext: http://hackintosh.zone/hackintosh-downloads/file/390-vt1802-patched-applehda/

And put Audio > Inject > 3 in config.plist.

Hello Allan thank you for the reply. Can I check with you I thought this kext is only for mavericks right? It will work for yosemite too without any hiccups? I haven't try it yet because I'm going to sleep. Shall try it later. Thanks.

Works until 10.9.3.

But you can uptake your AppleHDA following this instructions: Updating yours AppleHDA

Or using this method, because your codec is compatible: AppleHDAPatcher

Hi there Allan, thank you for reply. I have tried both method but it doesn't work. The first guide which is updating appleHDA, which I'm stuck at the part where one needs to download the script de bcc9 because I'm unable to download that, it just appear an error when i click on the link. Second is the applehdapatcher, which i try the patched kext and it doesn't work. Btw, i just now boot into windows where the device manager says its a Realtek and the hardware id was something like 0x10EC0269. So i somehow suspect it maybe a realtek alc269. But i have tried patched applehda for alc269 by mirone and it doesn't work as well. Thank you very much for taking the trouble to help me.
