llamafilm
What is the state of GPU support in Hackintosh laptops? Specifically, I'm wondering about the GTX765m. I got a really good deal on a MSI GS70 laptop with that GPU, and I'm wondering, is there any chance of full GPU support in Mavericks any time soon? I believe it has Intel graphics built in, but that will not work for my purposes (GPU-accelerated transcoding with RedCine-X and DaVinci Resolve). Allan
GTX 765M don't work in OS X, because Optimus technology is not supported in OS X. If you buy this notebook, you have to use this Guide.
llamafilm
As I understand it, Optimus is the name of the automatic graphics switching, and I have no desire to use that. Many Windows users choose to disable Optimus in the BIOS.
