is there a keyboard shortcut to hackintosh so you can restart or power off without going to apple menu.

i read apple manual, but of course there is no eject or power button in my logitech keyboard.

I conclude that you spent the last 52 minutes not googling "eject command OS X"

Command + E according to this.

My bad.

Following the link I posted, according to Apple, the answer is no.

Maybe you can use one of those key remapping or keyboard layout generator utilities to get what you want.

IMO pressing the power button should bring up a menu to shut down, sleep or restart. I don't remember though is it default behaviour or a DSDT patch is needed.

Cmd+Ctrl+Eject forces the OS X to restart without any confirmation

Cmd+Opt+Ctrl+Eject forces the OS X to shut down without any confirmation

I don't know if > 5 sec pressed F12 is still Eject for PC keyboards, I have Apple keyboards to my both Hackintoshes

F12 may replace Eject if is held 5 seconds.

That's true but I doubt that F12 will work as a substitution for the eject key in key combos.
