Shaneee
I think thats your HDD as mine makes a similar sort of noise while booting but the drive is fine. Did you copy FakeSMC.kext after the install?
keillerh
Well, i can't install anything because in first boot after install it got me the black screen. Maybe i lost some step when i was building the usb installer.
Shaneee
You can boot back to the installer and copy the FakeSMC kext to your HDD using terminal. Just boot the installer and select terminal from the utilities menu and enter the following, sudo cp -PR /Volumes/"Pandora Installer"/System/Library/Extensions/FakeSMC.kext /Volumes/NAME OF YOUR HDD/System/Library/Extensions Then run this, sudo touch /Volumes/NAME OF YOUR HDD/System/Library/Extensions

Edit:What does the last command? i know touch command is to create a file but in this command did i create a file named "Extensions"?
