SpaceJester666
Here is my current PC that I'm HOPING to turn into a hackintosh, I'm pretty sure I can do it, considering the fact that I've done it with a distro of Snow Leopard on a pretty much the same mobo and hardware. I just don't remember exactly where I started. Here are the specs of the PC: HP Pavilion a6330f Current OS: Linux Mint 16 Petra (Cinnamon) Motherboard Specs:Manufacturer: AsusForm factor: microATX - 24.4 cm (9.6 inches) x 24.4 cm (9.6 inches)Chipset: NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430Memory sockets: 4 x DDR2Front side bus speeds: 2000MT/s (2.0 GT/s)Processor socket: AM2Expansion Slots: 1 PCI Express x16 slot for graphics card 2 PCI Express x1 slots 1 PCI slotHARDWARE:CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 (dual core) +++ CPU Specs : Operating speed: Up to 2.8 GHz Number of cores: 2 Socket: AM2 Bus speed: 2000 MT/sGPU: Force3D AMD ATI Radeon HD 6450 +++ GPU Specs : Supports HDMI, DVI, VGA PCIe x16 HD 1080P 2GB DDR3Memory : 3gbAudio : 8 channel High Definition Audio Audio CODEC: ALC88SNetworking: Interface - Integrated into MoboTechnology: Realtek RTL8201NData Transfer Speeds: up to 10/100Mb/s------------------------------------------------------ The Graphics card isn't integrated, And I know it should work with OS X, Just not completely sure which distro is needed. I'd like to get a distro of Lion or Mountain Lion on it, but I will settle for Snow Leopard. The only thing I had a problem with last time was the ethernet, there were no drivers for it. But this one is a little bit different, and hopefully there are drivers for it. If any more info is needed to find out which distro is recommended, I will gladly supply it The only thing I'm asking from you guys is to point me in the right direction. Thanks ~SpaceJester
