Konner
I've always taken part in attempting OSx86 on AMD processors, since I'm cheap and don't have the money for Intel, ..and it's been a very long time since I've attempted on AMD specs. WELL. I went out and got some blank dvds, to give this a shot again. I can't even get anything to boot. Niresh's 10.8.2, SnowLeoDVD, hazard 10.6.2 (All of the SL distros kernel panic, and Niresh just reboots after loading stuff when booting the dvd) Specs: Asus Crosshair V Formula Z AM3+ AMD FX-8350 8GB DDR3 (It uses Intel ethernet) No idea what Realtek sound it uses, other than "high definition" Radeon HD 7870 This is the panic, and it appears to be because of my processor (This happens on all of the snow leopard ones) Then it says "Could not start cpu 1, rebooting" and reboots. I've tried multiple boot flags, and since I don't have an 8GB Flash drive or larger, or any dual layered discs. I have no idea what to do.
nyolc8
Do you using amd patched kernel? Because on amd you need to replace the kernel to an amd-patched one.

lod1
On Niresh, the only way i have gotten it to boot is by puting in "amd -x -f -v" Everything between the quotes exactly. If it doesn't boot with that then there is def a hardware issue.
