cantokgoz Posted March 9, 2013 Share Posted March 9, 2013 Hello everybody, I'm managed to install ML on my NP550P5C with GT630M and the biggest problem that i'm having with the graphics. Tried all kind of injections,EFI,DSDT patch,etc.. Patched my DSDT,generated EFI-string, ig-platform-id 16000004 seemed to work ALMOST fine for me(the others are not working,completely black screen or screen flickering in red) BUT I can see that the graphics are enabled in System Info but the display is corrupted, can't see colors, i see mostly gray and white. Seems that I cannot fix that and I don't have any graphics options in my BIOS. Boot with -s and type the following: mount -uw / rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/GeForce.kext rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/NVDAStartUP.kext rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions/NVDAGK100Hal.kext Btw, more information about your system would be nice, i googled NP550P5C, first hit gave nothing, (Nobody is wiling to google your specs.) i see you referring to Intel HD strings, well, mention what you have in your system. I have same problem on de Samsung 530u3c! same problem here np-qx411 everything works fine, except this gray white tint and i tried everything i could from dual link dsdt patch edid override efi and other things. when i boot without appleintelsnbgraphicsfb screen is very beautiful but useless without FB. it's the FB that's causing this but where to edit i don't know.
