Yes for me too, in Activity Monitor only 3,25 ram. Tonio??

Hacking K56CM = NEVERENDING STORY

Lejenk, maybe the DSDT you made for Tonio is for only 4 GB ram?? Can be the problem??

I found a topic saying to install CLOVER to solve ram problems. But i don't know how use Clover.

Don't think so, but you can check it out, just install the DSDT i made for your system, if it gives the same problem, you can revert back, since the one from Tonio works better.

Has no use for me, only the disable GPU function, forgot to add the PINI function, solved my question why it would not work.

So thanks again for that :)

Sorry for hijacking, if you have some time, could you look at my DSDT Tonio, the GPU still show up somehow :/

If not, it's ok, have a topic open on the issue

:P

It's easy, when you put some time it in, you can easily fix the most common problems. It's just, if you decide to help others, it may be you will get ridicules requests. Like disabling the NVidia GPU, i did not even know about it until you guys started talking about it. Tried to fix it, did i pretty good job i think (On my own DSDT), but left out a minor detail (thanks for sorting that out).

Learned a lot from this topic, especially when it comes to DSDT.

I hope you keep contributing to this project Tonio :)

yes I'm still working on this project, I will post here as soon as I find something from the beginning, but my holidays are soon finished :hammer:

This is the first time I hack a hackintosh, on my desktop pc everything works natively :smoke:

Fn -light works with : FN num lk

It's good for me. I miss just 4.75 GB of RAM, but it is a problem with Chameleon, wait an update...

Working :

- HD4000 installed by injection of an EFI String (tnx to Lejenk and Piuma and iFire)

- Brightness Control in preference system (with brightness fix but pc start maximum at every boot)

- Ethernet Lan RTL8111/8168B works with lnx2mac's kext (tnx to Piuma) (Bug DHCP renewal does not occur when the PC is turned ON)

- Battery works (tnx to Lejenk)

- Sleep / Stop / Wake up (tnx to Lejenk)

- SpeedStep (tnx to Lejenk)

- GT635M disabled by DSDT (not supported, must be disabled)

- 7 Series/C210 Series Chipset Family High Definition Audio Controller

- TrackPad (with gesture)

- Access to Applestore

- Webcam

- Fn keys

- USB 3

- Wifi (changed card)

Not working :

- Card reader (I searched but found nothing)

- Lost 4,75 Go ram :thumbsdown_anim: (Chameleon issues... and clover is not stable for my pc) but is not really a problem for me, I have a SSD Crucial m4 128go msata + momentus xt 500 go, swap is not bad...

It is like that. Now I will use my pc :P
