mihu_yo Posted March 28, 2012 Share Posted March 28, 2012 hy!i have a big problem with an dell inspirion!i have 2 ways to use iatkos l2 on my dell. 1-st:to enable speedstep and enjoy until is freezing, 2-to disable speedstep and enjoy my hack book on low performance.... geeks bench in speedstep enable shows me 2252 points ,and in speedstep disable shows me 1200.and the cpu @800 mhz the procesor is :intel pentium dual core mobile 1.6 ghz t2330. i will be grateful if someone helps me! i must mention that voodoo power next has no result Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Do you have a DSDT? and any ####powermanagement.kext will disable speedstep. thats kinda what they do the voodootscsync fixes a time slicing issue with some c2d, I've only ever needed to use it on dell c2d T7200 without DSDT wait...P4? disable speedstep and run SL, not Lion. mihu_yo Posted March 29, 2012 Author Share Posted March 29, 2012 means that.....it's no way to use speedstep on this machine....? i have dsdt from osx86,exact for my laptop.....and freezing appers from nowhere....maybe an hour...maybe 10 minutes after i turn on,,,...when i reinstall mac....it's freeze.... an cheeper cpu that it's working speed step ? CPU too old:( hy!coul you tell me exactly what kexts to put??i have installed snow leopard 10.6.8 ...i have dsdt...but still the problem with speedstep..
