Using the same kexts that worked in lion except instead of using Chimera I have to use Chameleon except Chameleon doesn't load the kexts properly where Chimera does. Same result in Lion any ideas?

I have noticed that some nvidia kexts are missing from Mountain Lion (like NVDANV50HAL.kext, GeForce7xxx.kext, ...).
It seems that Apple is doing some housekeeping with kexts.

i think its being custom updated per model type... basics to get system running? then updates to fine tune ?

I have the GeForce 7300 LE so I installed the 7xxx kext didn't work. Then installed the old GeForce.kext and that didn't work either.. any ideas? Also my ALC883 kext doesn't seem to work well either.

Not sure about the graphics, but for the audio try using multi beast and installing the AppleHDA.kext rollback option from there. It worked with my ALC888

Which ones though? I already did the two I thought were the right ones.
