    Audio / Graphics Don't Load

I have noticed that some nvidia kexts are missing from Mountain Lion (like NVDANV50HAL.kext, GeForce7xxx.kext, ...). It seems that Apple is doing some housekeeping with kexts.

    Intel PRO/100 VE NIC

Intel PRO/100 VE works under OS X Lion and Mountain Lion. Download this kext: AppleIntel8255x.kext.zip Unpack it, right click on AppleIntel8255x.kext, Show Package Contents, open file Contents/Info.plist Find this line and change it to match your card VEN and DEV id: <string>0x10928086</string> Go to /System/Library/Extensions/ Remove AppleHPET.kext and after that find IONetworkingFamily.kext Right click on IONetworkingFamily.kext, Show Package Contents, go to folder /Contents/PlugIns/ and copy here AppleIntel8255x.kext you modified.

Did anyone got his card working on Snow Leopard?
  5. .Chameleon is hidden. To see it, use terminal sudo su (enter your password) ls with ls command you will see all folders on your root partition.

    1) Backup "/System/Library/Extensions/ApplePS2Controller.kext" incase anything goes wrong 2) Download and extract the full install package: http://rapidshare.com/files/93582903/2fingerscroll.zip.html 3) Run ALPS Glidepad Driver.pkg (thanks to deamobile for creating this driver package: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...=47272&st=0) to install the driver and FFScroll. 4) After completing the install, it will ask you to reboot, do so. After rebooting you will get an error saying FFScroll is not working or somesort, Click "Fix" and reboot again. 5) Copy com.apple.driver.ApplePS2Trackpad.plist (found in the install package) to: /Users/[Your Username]/Library/Preferences AND /Library/Preferences. For some reason, if you do not place the plist file in both locations, FFScroll will not load. 6) Open terminal and type: sudo killall -9 FFScrollDaemon (Note: The first time I ran this, it didnt find anything of that sort running) sudo /usr/local/bin/FFScrollDaemon These commands will kill the FFScroll Process and restart it. You must do this everytime you edit that downloaded plist file. 7) Go into System Preferences, then FFScroll, you should see that 2-finger scrolling is enabled. You cant really edit the "Sample Accepts" as the highest threshold is 61 for some reason. All the other options you can edit. 8) Go back to System Preferences, go to keyboard & mouse, click the "Trackpad" tab. I believe you can uncheck "Use two fingers to scroll," as it still works without it. Set the tracking speed to midway. 9) Copy the FFScrollDaemon directory from the install package to /Library/StartupItems. Enter your password to authenticate. This will allow FFScrollDaemon to startup automatically when you start OSX. The next time you reboot, it will ask you to fix it, click Fix and then reboot your computer.

    32-bit color depth problem

Sorry, but that isn't it. The difference is in gradient from white to black. It's not so drastic as here.

    32-bit color depth problem

Gamma is ok, but as you can see, I can choose only 24-bit colors ("millions" in preferences). That is my problem. I tried to boot with mach_kernel -v "Graphics Mode"="1280x800x32@60", but with no success.
  9. I have noticed huge difference between my wallpaper on Windows and OS X. I am using Diabolik's NVkush on 10.5.4, but I noticed it before on 10.5 - 10.5.2 with "NVinject go" installed. OS X is reporting 32-bit, but I can only select 24-bit color depth. Any ideas?

  13. I had a same problem on ToH and Kaliway install. Really don't know why it didn't. But in iATKOS lan is working normally.

    Uphuck or Kalyway

I don't have problems with toast on iATKOS. But i noticed that iATKOS is using much more RAM then TOH.
  15. Hello, I have Intel Core2 CPU T5600 (1.83 GHz) on my Toshiba Satellite A100-011. I tried to install PC EFI from Netkas and also PC EFI from iATKOS with stock kernel. But when I reboot, computer is stuck in continuous reboot-loop (kernel wont load). I am currently using iATKOS as my only OS, and my whole drive is formated in 2 Mac OS Extended partitions. Is my CPU supported by PC EFI, or there is something else wrong?
