-aKy-
I had excactly the same problem when installing GM, everythin was fine with DP4 before. Taking a look into the Console i noticed that my Graphics Card could be the problem, or at least the drivers (im using a 8800GTX). So i reinstalled Graphics Drivers from DP4, everything is working now.
rocccky
I've installed the original lion appstorerelease and don't have a DP. Would you like to post the necessary drivers/kexts for me? (8800gts) thanks

oogie
Yep, Here as well. 8800 GTS 320. I figured it was related to the 8800 cards. I read on the web that users of original Mac Pros with windows versions of these cards can't even boot into Lion. It is running perfectly fine without any injectors or EFI strings on my system, but the safari bug is annoying. Please post DP4 drivers.
rocccky
hey .. i've had no success with the dp4 drivers so i tried the org. lion drivers plus the GeForce8xxxGLDriver.bundle from snowleopard. that fixes the flash and reload problem but flash full screens are flickering... SuperHack
Has anyone tried the 64 bit version of Adobe Flash? Â Also I've figured out that Adobe Flash prevents the computer going into idle sleep. Any ideas how to fix this?
rocccky
hey .. i've had no success with the dp4 drivers so i tried the org. lion drivers plus the GeForce8xxxGLDriver.bundle from snowleopard. that fixes the flash and reload problem but flash full screens are flickering...  i retried the dp4 drivers within a clean installation … success! .. works perfect. oogie
i retried the dp4 drivers within a clean installation … success! .. works perfect. Thanks for the link. Seems to work. Although I initially got some nasty crashes when running multiple tabs with flash video, it now seems to have resolved itself.  I'm seeing lots of crazy stuff in the console though so i'm not switching to dp4 drivers on my main install just yet. boxer82003
Do all the files go in the E/E folder where do i put them?
oogie
Do all the files go in the E/E folder where do i put them? I put them in S/L/E via Kext Utility. It will back up the old drivers, repair permissions and rebuild the cache automatically.
ghostdex
I had exactly the same problems with my 8800 GTS 640. Still under 10.7.1 or 10.7.2 11c37. Only installing the DP4 drivers fixed the problem! Thank you!
-aKy-
im using newest flash from adobe now but switched to opera, because of of freezes that occur sometimes when playing games oder watching a flash video in safari. using original 10.7.1 drivers now because system is way more stable, no freezes anymore. but it's really bad that i can't use safari anymore. Nelisdepelis
DP4 drivers fixed the flasherrors but made the system very unstable. Flickering, actifacts, had to go back to the original kexts and Chrome.

Bregt
I have the same problem with the 8800 GTS. DP4 drivers seem to solve it, but does make it unstable from time to time, really enoying . Will there be a solution for this in the future ? Because I don't want to go back to snowleopard .
