Hey everyone!
Does anybody knows how to distinguish between the final release of Lion and the GM release of Lion?
I know the build number is the same (11A511)....
Is there anyway else that I can know if i'm running the final build?

I'm pretty sure for some users the build number on the GM was actually higher than the retail (mine, for example, was 11A494 while the GM was 11A511), but other than that there shouldn't be any major noticeable differences between the GM and retail.

yes,true. 11A511 is the sold version.
And 10.7.1 update makes it : 11B26
10.7.2 will be some 11Cxx version. ( latest Dev is 11c37 )
what we learn from the Letters in it ?
A = initial release, version 0
B = first update
C = second ..
