For me the update was 650Mo

Brings a new darker logon screen and removes the Launchpad bug (the icons that disappears after using the computer for hours).

In my case, it was two updates (this one and iTunes 10.5 beta, which I had previously skipped) - the total was 1.07 GB between them. The login screen is that proper darker gray (as opposed to the "battlewagon gray" of pre-update DP4). I have not used Launchpad in DP4.

the new A494a update is good....encourage to install

so far I see it fixed
- the bugs on Launchpad.. now you can create file and it will not lose in next restart.
- Parallel works... no need to use parallel launcher scripts to add the driver.
- no more "pages not response and need reload" error in Safari.
- no more "cannot close the last preview windows"
- cleanapp now works without crash.

A494a is stable enough for daily usage.

The only problem I have is the CMOS reset after sleep... use snow 10.6.7 applertc.kext to fix it.
