johnniecarcinogen
Ok. 2min. install and works like a charm you should post this in the Ubuntu forum also.. thanks! That desktop looks really good. I got most of this information from the ubuntu forums, I just put it together. The only thing different is the search is not using beagle. You can change this in gconf-editor @ /desktop/gnome/applications/main-menu, and change the search_field key to "beagle-search SEARCH_STRING"
domino
Well, your blog is to the point and didn't have to go hunting for things needed to get everything working. And that's a good thing It's good to say that the deb will be addedd to QuinnStorm's repo at some point along with a modified control center. http://www.compiz.net/viewtopic.php?pid=12909#p12909

domino
Gonna leave dapper alone for the next few weeks. I just found out that Vista can be installed on a drive already populated with Dapper and not having to burn it by using DAEMON Tools . Now if ATI would get there {censored} right and release a proper beta driver. I have a ZD1211 and now with WEP/WPA support that was posted at the ubuntu forum a few weeks back. I have no idea what wlan card you have so it's sorta useless for me to try to help tshoot your wlan problem.
