Ah, I think I made a mistake, HT is indeed enabled.
Check Activity Monitor -> Window -> CPU Usage.

Yes because I can see 2 threads in CPU Usage so I guess it is working fine.

I know this trick I have used it on my MacBook Air Late 2010 when it was still on SL 10.6.8. On Lion it is active by default normally.
