I have the same issue and I'm trying to find a driver

I stumbled upon this, but I'm not even sure he's talking about ALC1200

Anyways I can't try it because I can't find the download for ALCinject (argh!)

Help anybody? Thanks

The Apple HDA patcher method was too complicated for me!! :-)

However I have got the audio working in stereo out mode by using the AppleAzaliaAudio and inserting my device id in the kext.

The kext can be found at this link

Hope this helps

Do U have any dump for that card?

Thanks for the reply Mad Tux. Yesterday I was half way through your tutorial and when i tried to find out the nodes for my audio chipset using AppleHDA patcher 1.2 as written as the easy way in your tutorial :-). As soon as I ran it I realised that the HDAPatcher supported my chipset and now my audio is working fine with Line Out, Front Headphone Out, SPDIF Out, Back IN, Front Mic IN.

I had not tried out the Patcher till now as my chipset ALC1200 was not mentioned anywhere, but it seems to be working fine. If it wouldn't have worked I was almost through to the pinconfig part in your tutorial and I am sure I could have got it working following your tutorial anyhow.

Thank You

Would you advise how to install ALC1200.zip since I'm new comer for MACOSX. Thanks.

I'm new at this as well, but Google is your friend...

This is the most info I could find in the Wiki's http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/Kext and http://grafikdesign.wordpress.com/2008/02/...ll-a-kext-file/

so do all KEXTs go in /System/Library/Extensions ?

and/or it looks like one can use Kext Helper : http://cheetha.net/

thanks,

Mike

Everythings work fine with new ALC1200_1056 package!

Realy nice work Marionez :thumbsup

The digital output work quite perfect.

I will ask little things:

With QuickTime and VLC work DTS or AC3 :P

But with iTunes work not the DTS, only static sound coms out.

Have you got a idea for this problem?

Nice work the new AttansicL1 driver. After sleep works fine, but sleep don't work only 2 sec.
