Ja genau ich habe eine ATI Karte. Windows ist auf einer anderen HDD installiert, hab noch eine SL Installation auf meiner anderen Partition wo auch Lion drauf soll. Ich editier das ganze mal eben und schau ob es funktioniert. Danke schonmal! Vielen dank, hat alles wunderbar geklappt brauch nur noch eine kext für meine Netzwerkkarte und dann läuft alles ohne Probleme. Nur eine Frage noch, in der bootlist steht ja i=386 was ja bewirkt, dass der 32bit kernel geladen wird oder? kann ich die zeile einfach löschen um 64 bit zu nutzen oder bringt das irgendwelche nachteile?

get stuck at this screen my system is a p5q pro with an e8400 and a hd4870 tried it with a USB stick and HDD. When I use the USB stick I have to unplug the stick because it says "wait for root device" (yes I use ahci) when I plug it in back the installer continues its work but stucks at the same screen as i posted above any help?

I dun get it working on my P5Q Pro. All I get is this lovely screen and I dunno why. Tried the USB stick method and the same on an internal HDD but same screen some help? p5q pro & e8400 hd4870

Hab es mit einem P5Q Pro versucht, jedoch keinen Erfolg gehabt. Erst musste der USB Stick dran glauben und danach die interne HDD. Bei beidem bleibt es jedoch bei dem Bild stehen und ich weiß beim besten Willen nicht wieso. Hab genau nach der Anleitung gearbeitet (hab mir auch die Englische angeschaut) aber der Erfolg blieb dann leider aus :/ Jemand ne Ahnung an was es liegen könnte?

Hello, I installed Snow Leopard via Boot-Disk and updated to 10.6.5 without problems. Then I installed Chameleon onto a 2nd Partition, cloned the boot CD onto the Partition and put some ktext into /Extensions. But it won't boot it loads the bootloader fine but stucks at booting. First I had some error with FakeSMC and MSDS length 6 but I fixed it. Well, I read throught all of those GUIDES and stuff but nothing helped me So first my specs: Intel E8400 Asus P5Q-Pro 4Gb RAM ATI 4800HD In past I had various installations of OSX like iDeneb etc. I also had a clear retail installation with Chameleon on a seperate EFI partition. But in every Guide I read the Chameleon thing on a seperate partition isn't mentioned. So I'm asking for a clear guide/some help to install OSX with a retail disk and chamelon on my pc. No Dualboot or stuff. Just 2 partitions, 1 for Chamelon and 1 for OSX So I don't have to install any ktext to OSX and can it leave untouched. thank you !

Das Problem mit dem flackern hat sich jetzt von alleine gelöst. Nun zu meinem anderen Problem. Vielleicht kann mir ja jemand andersweitig aushelfen. Ich möchte eine Installation von OSX ohne Dual Boot. 2 Partitionen, eine mit Chameleon und eine mit OSX. OSX sollte so wenig wie möglich modifiziert werden und alles über Chameleon laufen. Hardware steht im ersten Post, eine Anleitung oder irgendetwas wäre gut. Mit der ich das probiert hatte lief es nicht. Danke.

Hallo erstmal! Also, ich hab schon mehrmals einen Hacktintosh aufgezogen und damals lief auch alles wunderbar. Hab die Platte dann irgendwann platt gemacht und jetzt wollte ich wieder OSX installieren.. Hardware: Core 2 Duo E8400 Asus P5Q-Pro ATI HD4800 So... hab die HD platt gemacht und mit einer Boot CD die 10.6 retail DVD gebooted und installiert. Problem 1: Das bild flackert und geht erst weg wenn ich den monitor aus mache und wieder an hab eine 200 mb Parition erstellt für EFI und den rest für OSX auf der 200 mb Partition dann chameleon installiert und alles reingetan wie im guide erklärt.. Problem 2: OSX startet nicht von der Festplatte, kernel error (auf 10.6.5 geupdated, alle ktext reingetan etc. läuft auch alles super wenn ich von der BootCD starte, bis auf das flackern) Bilder kann ich gleich nachliefern.. Hab die UUID der OSX partition eingetragen, ist doch richtig oder? hoffe auf hilfe, danke !

Ich habs nun endlich geschafft Snow zu installieren doch hab nun ein paar Probleme, es kommt mir so vor als könnte ich keine KEXT installieren. Ich hab ein P5Q-Pro und habe aus dem Tutorial hier die KEXT für Snow aber sobald ich sie installiere und neustarte ist alles wie vorher und die KEXT sind nicht im Extensions Ordner (vor dem neustart waren sie das) weiterhin funktioniert chameleon auch nicht und ich muss immer von der boot cd starten.. wie genau mach ich das ? hab chameleon installiert aber wenn ich neustarte hab ich nur einen schwarzen bildschirm ! hoffe mal auf schnelle hilfe! danke : )

Hallo, Ich habs soweit nach dem How-To probiert doch mit einem kleinen Unterschied. Habe ein P5Q-Pro und nur Probleme. Ich habe 2 HDDs im PC - HDD1 hat 2 Partitionen, einmal OSX und einmal das 10.6 image. HDD 2 hat eine EFI Partition mit Chameleon und einemal die Snow Leopard Partition. Soweit so gut, doch wenn ich dann versuche das 10.6 image zu laden krieg ich nur http://i49.tinypic.com/121u6w2.jpg http://i48.tinypic.com/27xl9wh.jpg & den "ACPI_SMC_PlatformPlugin::Start -waitForService(resourceMatching(AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement) timed out" Fehler hatte ich auch schon mal aber mittlerweile nur noch das von den Bildern. Eine schnelle Hilfe wäre sehr nett da ich dafür sogar mein Windows verbannt habe und jetzt PC los bin Vielen dank schonmal!
