  1. ›› Voodoo XNU Kernel is now Released

Hi, The kext blacklisting feature is not working for me. I have to use dsmos & intelpmdisabler or my pc wont boot. It just gets stuck at the boot screen without any panics. Also i cant use seep until i eject my usb flashdrives first. Other then that the kernel works perfectly.
  2. Hi, I am using usb boot-132 method with the following kexts - smbiosenabler, dsmos & intelpmdisabler + my sata kexts. I am only being able to use sleep if I eject my usb boot 132 flashdrive and then use sleep. After this it works fine. If i dont eject it and try to use sleep then my pc goes into sleep mode for a second and starts again and shows a message telling that a device you removed could not be properly put away. Also my screensaver only works if i log out and then log in again, otherwise it doen not. I have tried using a different systemkext, smbios, acpi, and apci kexts, but nothing helps. Please help.
  3. Not working. Maybe some kexts need to be replaced?
  4. Thanks Will try out and let you know. QE/CI is Enabled. Sleep was working on this kernel on my iDeneb 10.5.5 installation. Sleep not working with the retail installation only.
  5. Hi, I am running kernel voodoo rc1 without any problems with leopard retail disk on my AMD 4400 X2 and Asus M3A78-EM SB700 board. I am using a usb stick to boot leopard now. The only problem I seem to be facing is that sleep and screensaver is not working. The kexts Iam using is smbios enabler, dsmos & intel pm disabler and my sata kexts. Please Help
  6. I am also not noticing and difference in scores in xbench in 32 & 64 bit mode. Is this a kernel related problem? How can i solve this problem. Thanks
  7. ATI ATA Controller (PATA/SATA)

Try setting the correct permissons or install the kexts via kexthelper or osx86tools
  8. ATI ATA Controller (PATA/SATA)

First it would be better to install leopard on your Sata HDD by setting SATA to AHCI mode. Then from within leopard use kext helper to install the sb700 kext and then reboot and set the sata to normal sata ide mode.
  9. Realtek ALC1200 (WORKING NOW!)

Thanks for the reply Mad Tux. Yesterday I was half way through your tutorial and when i tried to find out the nodes for my audio chipset using AppleHDA patcher 1.2 as written as the easy way in your tutorial :-). As soon as I ran it I realised that the HDAPatcher supported my chipset and now my audio is working fine with Line Out, Front Headphone Out, SPDIF Out, Back IN, Front Mic IN. I had not tried out the Patcher till now as my chipset ALC1200 was not mentioned anywhere, but it seems to be working fine. If it wouldn't have worked I was almost through to the pinconfig part in your tutorial and I am sure I could have got it working following your tutorial anyhow. Thank You
  10. Realtek ALC1200 (WORKING NOW!)

The Apple HDA patcher method was too complicated for me!! :-) However I have got the audio working in stereo out mode by using the AppleAzaliaAudio and inserting my device id in the kext. The kext can be found at this link http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?sho...mp;#entry827112 Hope this helps Ankit
  11. ATI ATA Controller (PATA/SATA)

Works faster than AHCI... I think. And DVD drive works too.
  12. Realtek ALC1200 (WORKING NOW!)

I am going to try the AppleHda Patcher guide and see if anything works out.
  13. ATI ATA Controller (PATA/SATA)

Thanks a lot ~Eureka for your kext. My SATA drives seem to be working fine and I am yet to test the PATA port. I am using an ASUS M3A78-EM board which has the SB700 chipset and matches to your list of supported devices id. Could you also please tell if there can be any issues like data corruption or damage on using this kext or is this Stable without any performance issues. Thanks a lot Ankit
  14. Realtek ALC1200 (WORKING NOW!)

Hello, Is there any working kext for realtek ALC1200. I have an ASUS M3A78-EM board which uses SB700 780G chipset. From what is seems this chipset is for ASUS boards only. Thank you Ankit
  15. New AMD DVD for leopard

Hello Zephyroth, The iTunes widget in dashboard isn't working properly. Is this a problem in this release or in Leopard itself. P.S. Can you add the Via Rhine Kext by pinxue in your next release?? Thanks
