ravagilli Posted December 30, 2008 Share Posted December 30, 2008 Sorry that i haven't been online for a while, install using iAtkos v5, and update to 10.5.6, use the PC_EFI v9 Chameleon with the DSDT patcher and then try writing the device EDID into the boot plist editor and see if that helps. Don't install any kexts just try keep it vanilla for graphic wise until everyone can get it sorted. I will do a screen step by step walkthrough when i have chance of the full procedure of getting this to work. The only other thing i can think of is that there is some conflicting kexts or that people aren't using vanilla installs or something. Maybe it only works for select revisions/versions of the X3100, it would maybe help if someone with a real mac could post their numbers so we can compare maybe i have a more COMPATIBLE card??? No, i wrote {censored}. /The problem was the voodoo kernel and my efi-string. (com.apple.Boot.plist mach_kernel.voodoo) With Vanilla 10.5.5 no kernel panic, but colourful stripes. {censored}.. Should i try the original mac string ??? Does it works with everybody of AppleIntelx3100 ......10.5.2 10.5.5 ??? I managed to get up to 1600x1200 but everything higher fails. Anybody who can point me to a tutorial that is really working in the end?
