jfcarbel Posted December 27, 2008 Share Posted December 27, 2008 I have a EP35-DS3R and will be installing using iATKOS_5i The question I have is that with iATKOS you need to choose some options at install. The ones I am unsure on are: Intel AHCI SATA or Intel SATA ?? That is, which one above will the Control Center replace or is it the same kext for both and it does not matter. Or should I just leave it unchecked? And should I also choose: JMicron Realtek R1000 or leave these unchecked and just run control center after the reboot and have it install these? aleni Posted March 21, 2009 Share Posted March 21, 2009 looks like a sweet application, but i already figured all problems in my installation (ideneb 10.5.6 - 1.4 with GA-P35-DS3). I got everything worked without this tool, but the only problem is sometimes when i restart the computer, it kernel panicked on the startup screen (the grey screen with logo apple). it only happens sometimes, i have tried looking the error in verbose mode, but when i boot from verbose mode, it's always successful. machine is: GA-P35-DS3 core 2 duo 2.8ghz 2GB ram linksys LN100TX with tulip driver.
