theSpam
I am starting an archive of all OSx86 stuff on my HDD and I want to be sure that I have the most complete set of files. This means correct MD5's on images/patches, that all files are present and that all files have correct names. ...Yes, I know, I can be obsessive-compulsive with perfectionism, sometimes... Anyways, here is what I have: 6671b06db57db94bebffdd2cffc2c78e *10.4.1/Apple.OS.X.x86.Developer.Kit.Install.DVD-pheNIX/Marklar-Tiger.dmg c2ab15c4caeec0abbcf1047ac89de79f *10.4.1/Apple.OS.X.x86.Developer.Kit.Install.DVD-pheNIX/phenix.nfo d63e931c06f62ef129ab7de45f27d73b *10.4.1/Patch/Generic_OSx86_Install_DVD_Patcher_Release1.rar daf72f000bd860360ae494d915058af6 *10.4.3/Build.8F1099/10.4.3_8f1099_for_dtk_userdvd.dmg 2ace9ae38080851026f0e686136c2318 *10.4.3/Build.8F1099/Patch/Maxxuss_DVD-ISO_8F1099_Patch_v1.1a.zip 3665735d1b651b5a4ad15ca59ab40142 *10.4.3/Build.8F1111/macosx_10.4.3_8f1111_for_dtk_userdvd.dmg 4b6673a96a0059605e6d840025c18055 *10.4.3/Build.8F1111/Patch/1111a.Generic.Patch.v4.2b.zip 072fba74662133c3212426d48f051b19 *10.4.4/Install.Disc/MacOSX_10.4.4DVD.iso aba5740a1f9e9265dfb5ea2f91b6b284 *10.4.4/Restore.Disc/Mac OS X 10.4.4 Restore Disc.dmg 713eb9e5255c8d470a59a3de7866fbac *10.4.4/Restore.Disc/Patcher/OSX10.4.4DVDPATCHER.part1.rar 0e9c168501aed345e5b960edb992d113 *10.4.4/Restore.Disc/Patcher/OSX10.4.4DVDPATCHER.part2.rar bcae60b7502c620d37ab097d4a5a2ffb *10.4.4/Restore.Disc/Patcher/OSX10.4.4DVDPATCHER.part3.rar ffc10d0e009a737b7726b13671f29875 *10.4.4/Restore.Disc/Patcher/OSX10.4.4DVDPATCHER.part4.rar cdf2224d0bcdc414b48cf969dc62b108 *10.4.5/Install.Disc/MacOSX_10.4.4DVD_Final_ppf.rar 97e56a52ea908dfc03b794956a05067c *10.4.6/Install.Disc/JaS.10.4.6.install.dvd.PPF1.PPF.zip 98a57538e3b15eceb1017c23d5d1ff83 *10.4.6/Install.Disc/Myzars.10.4.5.To.JaS.10.4.6.PPF-theSpam.rar 2a79f416e83a00df0c693d820bd6216c *Mactelbase.Leak/applications.tar.rar b04329fa62388d70d852490c312def72 *Mactelbase.Leak/mactelbase.tar.rar 7dc5449b1fa2ca56563df9ed8f7e4b00 *Mactelbase.Leak/texteditapp.tar.rar [updated: May 20, 2006]
jbjonas
see these And when you are done, please post a comprehensive list of filenames and checksums. That would help everyone a lot. Thanks.
theSpam
Before I actually post the sums, I need someone to compare with to make sure that my sums/filenames are indeed correct. That's why I started this thread. So it would be great if someone posted sums for the files listed above.
theSpam
Bump... I've gotten a bunch of new stuff since I last posted... ...so first post has been edited ...and I still need people to post their hashes
blackentangled
hey theSpam, can you include the mactelbase.rar, it's not a dvd installer but 'twas the first mactel leak.
theSpam
hey theSpam, can you include the mactelbase.rar, it's not a dvd installer but 'twas the first mactel leak. Okay, I'll see if I can get it... Edit: Ah, I'm lucky, it's still on Demonoid
theSpam
Wait a second, wouldn't having mactelbase be pointless since it's just an incomplete copy of 10.4.1 (which I already have)?
blackentangled
no, i think it's different from the 10.4.1 build if i remember correctly. it's just for archive purposes anyway.
schrepfler
Why MD5 hashes? Why no edonkey hashes, or DC++ hashes or BitTorrent hashes? :censored2:
other
Why MD5 hashes? Why no edonkey hashes, or DC++ hashes or BitTorrent hashes? MD5 hashes are Ok - filesharing hashes aren't allowed.
theSpam
Why MD5 hashes? Why no edonkey hashes, or DC++ hashes or BitTorrent hashes? Um, the hashes are for authenticity purposes and not for filesharing.
schrepfler
MD5 hashes are Ok - filesharing hashes aren't allowed. I was just being funny, anyhow, a hash is a hash so if one is illegal so are MD5's.
jbjonas
Here is your answer, plain and simple: MD5 checksums can't help you find illegal files Certain filesharing hashes can. End of story, mind the words of the Other, he is a Forum Administrator.

End of story, mind the words of the Other, he is a Forum Administrator. I'm not a moderetor but I've developed a p2p framework and I used MD5's to identify files. I was not trying to be polemic, it was just a joke.
theSpam
Update I've added even more stuff to my archive (including the Mactelbase stuff). Since nobody wants to post any hashes, I've decided to change the focus of this thread...so this thread will be a comprehensive list of all OSx86 related files.
