dragonpool Posted January 27, 2007 Share Posted January 27, 2007 It happened to me too. The problem is that Vista is not using the driver from bootcamp, but the built-in one. What you need to to is to switch to the bootcamp driver. You need go to Device Manager in Control Panel and right click on the current driver, select Properties in the menu. koekje Posted January 28, 2007 Share Posted January 28, 2007 I have a 1st generation 15inch macbook pro and have the same problem. Tried different drivers, but no luck as of yet. The 1.1.2 bootcamp driver for the sigmatel gives an error, something about the driver not being able to start up the device. The volume mixer says "no audo device installed". When I use the sigmatel drivers for a dell laptop, the drivers load ok, but there still is no sound. I think it has something to do with the registry settings, have looked around in the other topics for the gpio settings, tried those, but still no sound.
