dpollard55
Not sure if you tried this yet, but here is what I had to do. I noticed when SATA was set to AHCI it would read the hard drive but not the DVDROM. With SATA set to IDE it would read the DVDROM but not the HD. Believe it or not the solution was simply plugging the DVDROM into a different port and finding the setting that worked in my BIOS, in my case AHCI. verdant
{censored} eh' the download said intel/amd sse2 sse3 but I just googled it and your right what should i download to get snow leopard working on my machine? iATKOS S3 v2 was designed around Intel CPU MOBOs in terms of testing before release.......however, some have used it on AMD CPU MOBOs....... There are 5 kernels to boot the S3 DVD. qoopz 10.3.0, qoopz 10.2.0, pcj 0.9 10.2.0, atom 10.3.0 and the modbin 10.0.0 kernel. The default is qoopz 10.3.0. To boot the Install DVD with another kernel, type any one of: "mach_qoopz" for qoopz 10.2.0 "mach_pcj" for pcj v0.9 10.2.0 "mach_atom" for atom 10.3.0 "mach_modbin" for modbin 10.0.0 Install Leopard using a AMD compatible distro (it makes good sense to always have a backup working OS X system installed), or use TransMac in Windows, to transfer the mach_modbin kernel to the / directory of the presently un-bootable SL installation that you installed by booting the iATKOS S3v2 Install DVD using mach_modbin (since there is no modbin kernel in the Customize menu, it is only available as a patched i.e. non-vanilla kernel to boot the iATKOS S3v2 Install DVD) and remember to modify the Kernel key in all com.apple.Boot.plist files........ Modbin_Kernel.zip Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/239106-need-help-with-iatkos-s3-v2/#findComment-1597237 Share on other sites

apatsufas
No problem man. Your busratio should be your cpus multiplicator. Quote Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/239106-need-help-with-iatkos-s3-v2/#findComment-1597375 Share on other sites
