I've got a problem:

I can boot up fine the Kalyway DVD (10.5.2), but when I want to use Disk Utility to partition my Harddrive, Disk Utility doesn't mention my hdd.

What boot options do I have to use or do I have to do something else?

My specs:

Motherboard: Asrock 4CoreDualVsta

CPU: Intel Core 2 Q6600

HDD: Samsung HD501LJ (500GB) ATA-SATA-II (34GB WinXP, Primary 60 GB Free Space, 100 GB WinVista, 255 GB Data)

DVD: Optiarc DVD RW AD-5170A (ATA ATAPI)

Video: Nvidia Geforce 8400GS

RAM: 2GB DDR2

Ok, I'll try.

It didn't work. Kalyway doesn't still see my hdd.

can you give us more information what DVD you have and what the steps you are using to install Leopard? how do you format your HD what did you use to do this..

can you see your HD with windows?

I use the Kalyway_10.5.2_DVD_Intel_Amd . I can see my hdd with windows. I'm quite new to osx86. I just press enter, because I don't know what the other kernels do.

from my understanding that you never install Leopard or Tiger in your PC befor!

ok, this is just the start even if you can load the Leopard installation you have no idea what is your hardware requerments!

befor you start with this you need to find out what do you need for your hardware like sound card, video card, LAN or WIFI,..etc

then you start installing your Leopard this way you are not going to be mad and you don't know what is going on with your Leopard, then you come back and say nothing working...

save your time and find out what you need first and then we can help you!
