Craig-O
I'm using the Jas 1111 (10.4.3) patched DVD on the following setup: Gigabyte GA-8I945G Pro Mainboard P4-630/3GHz 1Gb Dual Channel DDR2 Ram 2x 200Gig SATA Hard Drives (configured as RAID0) 3Com 3C905-TX NIC x2 After my first attempt to install and getting a panic, I've disabled onboard sound as per previous posts. This allows booting to the point where I'm asked to choose my installation disc...however there are no visible hard drives to install onto...any suggestions? Thanks Craig Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/9962-trouble-free-installationi-wish/ Share on other sites
jbjonas
Read the wiki HCL! As far as I know, nobody has been able to get RAID supported. Also some SATA controllers are not recognized at all, but with your motherboard, I wouldn't worry about that part. Try turning RAID off in your BIOS (and you might have to destroy the Array in the RAID utility also) and then see if the Install recognizes the drives as two separate SATA drives. Good Luck Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/9962-trouble-free-installationi-wish/#findComment-62376 Share on other sites
