RTMG Posted April 16, 2008 Share Posted April 16, 2008 I personally like Scythe fans. Adjust the voltage on whatever fan you get until your happy with the quietness. Either temp control it via the bios if it`ll let you, or use the cunning 7v trick. nvrpunk Posted April 19, 2008 Share Posted April 19, 2008 I like PanFlo's myself, low rotational speed, lots and lots of air. However, for silent fans, you really want to look at the 120mm range, very low rotational speed, you will get much better cooling at a lower db rating, this cannot be said for 80mm's. Keep in mind, all fans make noise, one's that do not usually do not provide adequate airflow (or are broken).
