~pcwiz
I have an ISO that is approx 4.7GB in size, but it won't fit onto a single layer DVD (only holds about 4.4GB). Would there be any way to shrink it to fit? I tried compressing with WinRAR the file itself but it only reduced the size by 100 megs, final size 4.8GB. chris2k
You can try PAQ, but it's very slow at it's highest compression ratio. Depending on what filetypes are in the iso, it might work. But you won't be able to read the dvd on-the-fly, you will always have to decompress it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PAQ
~pcwiz
Thanks, what I ended up doing is I archived it with WinRAR and cut it into 4481MB (DVD size) parts to burn
