atx840
Hokay, i have a centrino laptop running 10.4.3 flawlessly, dual boot and everything is good. Now I have a new Celeron D 340 sse3 no nx, and when I try to install either the 10.4.3 jas patched disk it just goes to the screen saying reboot machine with an error of 10.4.3 "Waiting for remote debugger connection kdp_poll: no debugger connection" 10.4.4(the patched install dvd from torrent) "Darwin Kernal Version 8.4.1 : Tue Jan 3 blah blah ;root : xnu-792.7.90.obj~1/RELEASE_I386" I can install on my new celereon 10.4.3(Jas) in vmware and it runs good(not as good as natively on my centrino) but 10.4.4 installs but will not boot in vmware just site there. Now I have an original 10.4.4 install dvd, I have the dvd patches, the dvd install disk and the Ghost partition. Anyone have any idea what this means, or what my next step is, I have some experience as I got 10.4.3 working on my laptop and in vm ware, patched myself but this is messing me up. Grrrr. any help? cheers Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/9940-grrrrrr-help-1043-or-1044-no-inst/ Share on other sites
jbjonas
Did a search of the wiki for you... on this page you will find the following. Q : Umm... What if it still asks to reboot even after typing -x for safe mode bootup ? (upon using -s to boot I see it stops at "Waiting for remote debugger connection. kdp_poll: no debugger device". A : That's probably because your USB-Controller/IRDA or any other component isn't supported. Disable it in the BIOS and you'll be fine. Disable IRDA, USB support in the BIOS. Try disabling legacy USB support in your BIOS. Hope that helps Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/9940-grrrrrr-help-1043-or-1044-no-inst/#findComment-62225 Share on other sites
