Unperfect
Well a friend just gave me a mac G5 with tiger on it today and I was wondering could I just use my Kalyway DVD to install leopard? Because all the leopard active torrents are just a dual layer dvd(I don't have nay dual layer dvd burner, nd i also checked the G5 doesn't seem to have one to) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/99284-kalyway-on-a-real-mac/ Share on other sites

Guest
In your case you'll have to do it the "legal" way and that's buy the actual CD and then run the upgrade. These installers won't work since they are made to work on AMD/Intel computers only and so it will not work. Unless if you can find a way such as find the retail non-changed DVD and upgrade with a "key" or something along those lines but not with Kalyway etc Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/99284-kalyway-on-a-real-mac/#findComment-709825 Share on other sites
