Gabriel Simões
Hello ... I am using a leo4all v2 install on my Dell Vostro 100 notebook ... (amd turion x2 tl-50) Most of the resources I need are working great! but ... my notebook is working full all the time ... so it is always hot/warm and the battery doesnt take long ... I tried to install the power management bundle I've found on this forum .... well .. I get the energy saver options and the battery icon (even if ac is on) .. but it cannot calculate how much time I have left with my battery ... and every time I try to restart or shutdown I get a kernel panic ...\ By the other side ... I could notice that using the powermanegementbundle kext my startup takes less time than using the basic kext provided in the leo4all image ... Can you guys help me installing this kext on my notebook so I can use mac and forget windows most of the time?? Thanks, Gabriel Simoes Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/99139-how-to-install-powermanagementbundle-on-leopard-1052/ Share on other sites

00diabolic
but it cannot calculate how much time I have left with my battery ... Common problem. Mine also does not calculate. Percentage only works. and every time I try to restart or shutdown I get a kernel panic ...\ This is an ACPI issue or kernel related. If you read this topic. You would see that ACPI is related to your problem and have tried a different ACPIplatform.kext like I did which fixed a lot of problems. This also could be related to the kernel your using. You could try a different kernel. Id suggest netkas speedstep kernel. See what happens Then try a different kernel. See: http://minsong79.tistory.com/10 netkas SS kernel is the only reliable option for AMB machines from what I have heard.
