failo
I`m running Leo4All v2 on D930, P5LD2 mobo and wireless card with broadcom chipset. According to HCL my LAN (Marvell Yukon 88E8053) should work out of the box but it isn't. My wireless is! After some changes and installinga small patch called NetFix (for Leo4All only) my LAN works and I can browse computers on my network but I can't mount any smb shares! (my Lan works with Yukon.kext Yukon2.kext fails to load) It worked fine in Tiger but no go in Leo. As I have like over 100 comps in my network it is essential for me to get smb working. Tried many "smb mounting apps" but nothing worked. Tried different IONetworkingFamily kexts form 10.5.2, 10.5.1 and this one that should fix TimeMachine nothing worked. Tomcat5k
Same problem. I think it's a Leopard thing... not related to running a Hackintosh. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/99069-networking-problem-smb-mount/#findComment-707481 Share on other sites

failo
I already installed this patch! But still no smb mount from finder. Without this patch I couldn't even browse the network, with it I see computers and can connect to some of them but still can't mount any smb`s in finder: GO>Connect to Server>SMB://21.22.1.14... This fix repairs the error msg in finder that the smb address wasn't recognized.
